How this site is funded, and how advertising relationships are disclosed.
How we make money
This site is funded by advertising. We may also, in future, earn a commission when a reader chooses to purchase through a link we have marked as an affiliate link. We do not currently operate any pharmacy, and we do not sell medications.
What we require of any advertised destination
Should we ever promote or link to an online pharmacy, we require that the destination be:
- Licensed by the relevant state board of pharmacy, where required.
- Verified by LegitScript or NABP.
- Requiring a valid prescription where the law requires one.
An online pharmacy that sells controlled substances without requiring a valid prescription is operating illegally in the United States, and we will not link to it. The FDA has issued warning letters to sites making exactly that claim, which is a reasonable proxy for what happens next.
Advertising is labeled
Any paid placement or affiliate link is marked as advertising at the point it appears, and required disclosures appear alongside it under the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255). Advertising has never influenced our editorial content, and no advertiser has reviewed a page before publication.
